The Berry Balanced Clay Mask

The Berry Balanced Clay Mask is a highly active mask that balances the skin and absorbs excess sebum with the help of clay, zinc gluconate and willow bark extract - a natural source of salicylic acid. The mask dissolves blockages in the pores and reduces excess sebum. Ideal for treating oily, acne-prone or combination skin with tendencies towards enlarged pores and blockages. Leaves skin clear and clean with an improved texture. NB! The effect of the mask is very intense and when used for the first time, the skin may feel warm and red after a few minutes. This is not harmful to the skin and the redness settles over time, but rinse off the mask if it feels uncomfortable. Not recommended for sensitive skin. The formula is composed of an ideal combination of effective and clinically proven natural ingredients (COSMOS), potent nature-identical extracts and well-proven synthetically produced concentrate to ensure that the product is both effective on the skin and kind to nature’s resources.The active ingredients include:  Blueberry seed oil - the seed oil from blueberries contains high amounts of omega-3, omega-6 and omega-9 - essential fatty acids that are important nutrients for the skin. Evens the skin and strengthens its barrier. PHA- Polyhydroxy acid. A gentle exfoliation that also acts as a moisturiser and moisture retention agent. It gently dissolves dead skin cells, improves the visibility of fine lines and works to balance and even out pigmentation. Zinc gluconate - a compound molecule of zinc and glucose. Studies have shown that zinc can help reduce the symptoms of acne, reduce sebum production and soothe irritated skin. Willow bark extract - contains natural salicin which is converted to salicylic acid in the skin. Salicylic acid refines and cleans pores by dissolving sebum. Reduces excess oil on the skin and gently exfoliates for clearer and smoother skin. Broccoli Extract - extracted from broccoli sprouts containing the antioxidant sulforaphane which, among other things, neutralises toxins and helps reduce redness and inflammation caused by exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation. Bioflavonoids - a natural source of antioxidants that also maximise the effect and absorption of vitamin C. Strengthens the skin’s natural production of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid. Aloe Vera (0.05%) - known to soothe irritated skin. Has moisturising properties as well as an antioxidant effect on the skin.
